Briefly, my background is as follows.  I have almost 20 years in information technology.  I have owned an information and technology consulting practice for almost as long.  I have served as MIS Project Manager, Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Program Manager, Principal Applications Engineer for an international telecommunications hardware manufacturer.  I have served as Vice President of Operations for two different telecommunications companies (phone companies) with the Information Technology departments as part of my reports.  The long and short of it is that I pretty much know what I am doing.
