Below are a few examples of the work we do.  The purpose of the examples are to demonstrate our flexibility as to solution and type of business we work with.  We work with big business and little businesses and they all get the same considerate attention.  Obviously, this is not intended to be any kind of an all encompassing list; it is just a few examples.

The Need:

    Factory rep for a renowned Italian furniture company needed to get organized.  He wanted the ability to access his system and data remotely for himself and some remote contract staff.  He wanted to modernize his desktop applications.  He needed training on various applications including general bookkeeping help

The Solution:

    Designed an implemented a Windows Server 2003 network with Terminal Services and built out a desktop computer and laptop computer.  We established some best practices for him going forward.  Imported all of his existing data into new modern applications.  We are involved in ongoing training on QuickBooks and the MS Office Suite as well as helping with document origination and modification to better provide critical data and providing remote consulting services as the need arises.

The Need:

    Multinational team dynamics consulting company needed to upgrade and streamline their system.

The Solution:

    Added some new desktop hardware and configured the systems to allow data sharing between partners 500 miles apart.  Modernized the desktop applications and imported existing data into these new applications.   We have provided training on various applications and processes.  We are providing remote consulting services as the need arises.

The Need:

     Professional staffing company moving into new offices wanted new desktops through and a complete network installation and configuration.

The Solution:

    Designed and implemented a complete Windows Server 2003 network with 10 workstations making wireless connections (saved the cost of having their new offices wired).  Modernized the desktop applications and imported existing data into these new applications.

The Need:

    Mining engineering company needed a database application designed, developed and implemented to do job costing.  They needed access to the application from three countries with about 30 users.  And, of course,  they needed it a week ago.

The Solution:

    Designed, developed, and implemented a custom database application to handle the job costing for all of their projects both current and upcoming.  Trained the staff on the use of the application.  Designed and implemented a Windows Server 2003 server running Terminal Services allowing both local and remote access to the application.  Trained the in-house IT staff on maintaining the system.  We are providing remote consulting services as the need arises.

The Need:

    A medical records retrieval company needed to automate their systems and move their records to digital format making them available on a web site for their clients.

The Solution:

    Did a lot a different things here.  Modernized their existing desktops and brought their server up to Windows Server 2003.  Established best practices for backups including automatic off-site backups - they were not backing up their data at all before.  Researched digitizing equipment for in-house and field work and helped them select vendors and make the purchases as well as trained them on using the equipment.  Completely rebuilt their website and added the ability for their clients to retrieve records automatically from their site.  Did a lot a training on applications for these folks.  We also Provided QuickBooks consulting for them.
